Mid-career crisis, mid-life crisis, burnout… they’re all real things! They’re all DIFFERENT things. Dr. Hala Sabry is a woman physician, mom, trailblazer and thought-leader focused on woman equity. Listen as she chats about mid-career crisis versus burnout in the lives of women physicians.
Women and men are different in so many ways and those differences speak to how we live and view our lives. The same is true of our careers. Men and women experience mid-career crises at completely different times in life and for very different reasons.
As women, when we hit about 40 and realize that we are no longer able to do very basic biological things, we begin to question our worth. We need fulfillment in our lives and careers and when we don't have that, we start to look for answers.
For many of us, leaving behind a lasting legacy is one of our most important goals. But what does that look like and how can we make a real impact in our professions and our community?
Listen as Dr. Hala shares her thoughts on mid-career crisis vs burnout and what we can do to circumvent these stages. She’s done the research. She’s read the studies. She’s helping women professionals all over the world find their purpose and fulfillment again.
You won’t want to miss out on this one.
“The fun part is the journey and I think we’ve all been so wired to get to the end, but the finish line is not as sweet as the journey to get there.” Dr. Hala Sabry
